About FAF2023

2023年はフォレストアートフェスティバルのプロローグとして、植樹と滞在制作を行いました。(2023年6月1日〜11日）

ヤナギと野バラの苗木、合わせて6100本をマトー村の僧院の土地へ植樹。福島県の曹洞宗青年会の植樹チームの皆さん、日本からのボランティアチーム、マトーの村人と僧院の僧侶の皆さんが総出で臨みました。

その地を舞台に、美術家、香川大介氏とスギサキハルナ氏が滞在制作を行いました。

また、制作期間中にはラダックのアーティストとのワークショップも開催。

About FAF2023

In 2023, as a prologue to the Forest Art Festival, tree planting and residency artwork were conducted. (From June 1st to 11th, 2023) On June 2nd, a total of 6,100 saplings of willow and wild rose were planted on the land of Mato Monastery in Mato Village. The tree planting team from Fukushima Young Soto Zen Buddhist Priest Association and volunteers from Japan, along with villagers and monks from Mato Temple, participated wholeheartedly. Against this backdrop, artists Mr. Daisuke Kagawa and Ms. Haruna Sugisaki conducted their residency artwork.
